Sri Rama Navami
Sri Rama Navami marks the birth of Lord Rama, the seventh incarnation of Lord Vishnu, and is celebrated with immense devotion across Nandyal. Devotees visit temples, perform special poojas, recite the Ramayana, and participate in bhajans and spiritual discourses to seek the blessings of Lord Rama. Many temples organize the ceremonial Sita Rama Kalyanam (the divine wedding of Lord Rama and Goddess Sita), attracting thousands of devotees. Traditional offerings such as panakam (jaggery drink) and vadapappu (soaked moong dal) are distributed as prasadam.
