A major theft took place on the national highway near Dhone in Nandyal district. According to the victim, Motilal, approximately 2.75 kilograms of gold was stolen from a private bus traveling towards Hyderabad. The victim informed the police that the theft occurred around 12 midnight on Friday when the bus stopped near a roadside dhaba.
The victim realized that the gold had been stolen after the bus crossed Jadcherla and later lodged a complaint at the Dhone Police Station. Police registered a case and began an investigation. Officials noted that two silver theft incidents had previously occurred at the same location. With this being the third theft involving private travel buses near the dhaba, police suspect the involvement of an organized gang.
