Community Service Programmes

A district-wide voluntary blood donation camp will be organized to encourage citizens to donate blood and help patients requiring emergency transfusions. Medical professionals will conduct donor screening and health check-ups before donation. Volunteers, college students, government employees, and social organizations will participate in this life-saving initiative. Awareness sessions on the importance of regular blood donation and healthy living will also be conducted.

The Green Nandyal Tree Plantation Drive 2026 is a district-wide environmental initiative aimed at increasing green cover, protecting biodiversity, and creating a cleaner and healthier environment for future generations. The programme will bring together students, teachers, government departments, volunteers, non-governmental organizations, resident welfare associations, youth clubs, and members of the public in a collective effort to make Nandyal greener and more sustainable. The event will begin with an inaugural ceremony, followed by the plantation of native and fruit-bearing saplings at schools, government offices, parks, roadsides, village common lands, and other public spaces.

The Organ Donation Awareness Programme 2026 is a community health initiative aimed at educating citizens about the importance of organ and tissue donation and its life-saving impact. The programme seeks to raise public awareness, address common myths and misconceptions, and encourage individuals to make informed decisions about becoming organ donors. The event will feature awareness sessions led by medical specialists, transplant coordinators, and healthcare professionals, who will explain the process of organ donation, eligibility criteria, legal guidelines, and the role of donor consent. Participants will learn how donated organs such as the heart, kidneys, liver, lungs, pancreas, and corneas can help save or improve the lives of patients suffering from serious medical conditions.
